ANSI B16.5 Class 300 Flanges | Threaded
ANSI B16.5 Class 300 threaded flanges have built-in threads and do not require welding. They can be directly connected to pipes or fittings with corresponding external threads. According to the ANSI B16.5 (American National Standards Institute) standard, these flanges are capable of withstanding a pressure of 300 pounds per square inch gauge (PSIG). Threaded flanges are easy to install and provide good sealing performance, but compared to welded flanges, they have lower strength and rigidity, making them more suitable for use in low-pressure piping systems, such as heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), as well as in industries that value simplicity.
YANHAO ANSI B16.5 threaded flanges are made of stainless steel, carbon steel, and alloy steel, offering high corrosion resistance and temperature resistance. We also provide additional components such as gasketed flanges, bolts, nuts, flange covers, or flange cover gaskets. We typically offer standard flanges; if you need to order special types of flanges, please get in touch with our experts.

Threaded flanges
Threaded flanges are a commonly used type of flange in industrial applications. Similar to slip-on flanges, threaded flanges have tapered threads designed to connect with pipes that have corresponding external threads. The advantage of these flanges is that they can be connected without welding. Threaded flanges typically feature raised face, flat face, or RTJ (Ring Joint) faces. When a raised face is required for threaded flanges, the standard height for threaded flanges is 1/16″ for flanges rated below Class 400. For threaded flanges rated Class 400 and above, the standard raised face height is 1/4″. The size range of threaded flanges extends from 1/2″ (DN15) to 100″ (DN2500), with varying numbers and diameters of bolt holes, as well as different flange outer diameters, hub diameters, flange thicknesses, and bolt hole diameters.
